Gramin Vigyan Seva Sansthan (GVSS) is a Rajasthan-based non-profit organization, founded in 1988, devoted to advancing education, empowerment, and sustainable development across rural communities.
Born from the vision of a group of passionate and socially conscious individuals, GVSS works to strengthen rural life by blending traditional wisdom with modern scientific approaches that promote inclusive growth.
Over the years, GVSS has reached more than 70 villages, leading initiatives that focus on girls’ education, women empowerment, organic farming, water conservation, and environmental restoration.
Through impactful programs such as skill development training, tree plantation campaigns, community library setups, and livelihood support, the organization has improved the quality of life for thousands of rural families.
Our guiding purpose is to build a self-reliant, educated, and environmentally responsible rural society, where every person—especially women and youth—has the opportunity to grow with dignity and confidence.
At GVSS, we believe that lasting change begins at the grassroots, and through community participation, awareness, and innovation, we continue to nurture a greener, stronger, and more empowered India.
